The design of these moulds have been studied to have parts in common for saving money and time in the production changing operations. To reach this target we passed through a flexible pilot mould by which we tested with customer the 3 bottle designs in our machine Nissei ASB 50MB.

PREFORMA DESIGN

The problem manifested by our client was the enormous quantity of waste generated by an intrinsic problem at the injection point on the bottle. More waste in production means more waste of time and resources.

The pharmaceutical sector, in particular, is very sensitive to this type of problem.

To meet this need we have intervened on the hot runner of the injection mold, thus excluding the root defect and giving greater efficiency to the entire production process.

The  solution used by the Preven team was of replacing the previous injection mold as a whole using a hot runner of Moldmaster construction, with shut-off valves (see photo on this article).

In this case the peculiarities of the Moldmaster hot runner help to obtain a product exactly as required by the pharmaceutical market, with a perfect injection point.

In order to take full advantage of this feature, the complete lower injection kit was included, consisting of 4 + 4 male and injection molds plus the matrix holder plate.

This allowed the customer to optimize the productivity of the Nissei ASB 12M cavity mold, drastically reducing the costs of use.

The realization of the 4 cavity Nissei ASB 12M mold, exactly like any other Preven brand product, is 100% Made in Italy.

ASSEMBLY AND TESTING / START-UP

The testing phase was carried out personally by Preven technicians at the customer’s premises, as usual, in order to promptly resolve any start-up problems.
